Bus Campaign

Look out for this poster on Birmingham buses in

December 2017!

Seen one on your travels?  Take a pic and share it with us via Twitter, Facebook

or Email office@peacemakers.org.uk

Who designed this poster?

Children and staff from 9 schools came together for a series of workshops held at the Peace Hub during 2017.  They explored their understanding of peace and how they could make a difference in their schools and communities.  Four children from each school were involved and they became our 2017 Junior Peacemakers. The workshops culminated in an event at the Priory Rooms.  Here we discussed how we feel about travelling into the city centre and what it is like to be on the buses.  The children wanted to send a positive message to people travelling on the buses over the Christmas period.

Show Someone you Care – Share a Smile is their message to help build peace in Birmingham.

We hope this poster makes you smile this festive season!  What could you do to show someone you care and help to build peace in your local community? Let us know and we will pass your messages on to our Junior Peacemakers.

The campaign will run on the inside of 70 Birmingham buses for 4 weeks from 11th December.

On the No. 33 and the 97!
